Harare(ZimEye)A London based Zimbabwean Activist has been “expelled” by Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai’s MDC party legislators after publicly advising the Prime Minister on a matter which he felt “threatens the premier’s life”.
The London activist who supports and works with the Zim Vigil advocacy had submitted a public contribution in which he stated that Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai should be aware of what he called a Learnmore Jongwe plot “being deployed” by ZANU PF and would ultimately result in Tsvangirai’s death.
Learnmore Jongwe was the MDC-T’s first spokesperson and he died after a few days in prison after reportedly ‘stabbing’ his wife to death who it is claimed had triggered him to do so by entering into an extra marital affair. Other reports suggest ZANU PF engineered the extra marital affair or were part of it. Chinyanga’s contribution was to the effect that Robert Mugabe’s ZANU PF party may be using a tactic similar to that of utilising a spouse relation so as to compromise the premier’s judgement and his political position as a potential leader of the country.

MDC-T MP Perez Hamandishe Maramwidze: "Chinyanga you are no longer and MDCT member!"

The activist who has lived and studied in communist ruled Cuba for 7 years told ZimEye he was issued with a “threat” and another statement claiming to expel him from the MDC party for his contributions made on the social networking website Facebook.
Screen print evidence from the Facebook website displays two MDC-T MPs blasting Chinyanga and the Gutu MP, Perez Hamandishe Maramwidze issuing the announcement:
“Martin Chinyanga Da William, I have fired you from MDC from onwards you are no longer a member of MDCT have nothing to do with us. You can go and petition anywhere you want…I am an MP. I HAVE FIRED YOU”
Chinyanga told ZimEye: “I thought they would take in a some advice from me but instead they threatened and expelled me,” he said of the MPs one of Gutu North and the other from the Zaka constituency.
The MDC-T MPs also accused Chinyanga of being a ZANU PF functionary controlled by the party’s spin doctor Jonathan Moyo:
“…You mislead us saying you are together with us in the struggle, yet you are a subsidiary of Jonathan[Moyo]. Change will come and through an unchanged leadership of the MDC…”, Festus Dumbu, MDC MP for Zaka constituency is quoted stating.
The MDC-T legislators also blasted Chinyanga for suggestions he made for disciplinary action on Morgan Tsvangirai and rubbished the London based activist who said that the premier should be disciplined following his scandal with a woman known countrywide to be related to his arch rival Robert Mugabe and at the same time another woman who is the widow of a feared military commander.
Morgan Tsvangirai became the talk of the whole world after he controversially married into a family known countrywide as close colleagues of his arch-rival Robert Mugabe whose party is believed to be hatching a number of strategies to bring him down as the nation nears elections currently speculated for a date in just a few months time in 2012. Chinyanga pioneers a few efforts from London which include work with the Zim Vigil organisation and he has called for Zimbabweans in the diaspora to pay visits in honour of the country’s dead victims of political violence at all their respective embassies. His comments come after another statement was issued by the Zim Vigil organisation which suggested the MDC should perform a vigorous review of its political strength following Tsvangirai’s recent sex-scandals (ZimEye, Zimbabwe)

  1. Pathetic. You guys wonder why the world laughs at Zimbabwe? Let’s see? You have a tin pot dictator who doesn’t understand basic economics (as evidenced by your wallowing in a currency shithole) yet is supported by other illiterate monkeys.
And Tsvangirai, the “new hope” is a pathetic moron who can’t keep his dick in his pants, then abandons his children like an irresponsible rat.
Enjoy your pathetic third world country, it’s not going to advance until your people open books and educate themselves.

  2. There are 5 people in Zimbabwe: politician, human-right activist, human murderers, public and journalist please do not mistaken them, they are all different.
Human rights activist does not belong to a political party but can favor and like the party which supports human rights, they usual preach against any silly behaviors done by politicians, journalist and human murderers. A human murder is a political party supporter who is very much brain washed and extremist, he goes about killing both human rights activists and supporters of opponent political parties. The murderer thinks he owns the soil and none who does not support his political party is allowed to live but rather to die. Politician use the human murderers as weapons and as their shield in staying on power. in Zimbabwe there are two groups of murderers for MDC-T namely Tsvangirai fanatics(they believe tsvangirai is a Godfather) and ZANU-PF have chipangano who are Mugabe loyalists, they are given all directions to kill by Mugabe himself.. also they are former 5th brigdesgukurahundists).
journalist and public are wave goers or wind blown brains, they support where there is a will and a change. The human rights activist tries by all means to protect this vulnerable society which is exposed to the evil of politicians, hence Human rights activists are the biggest targets of Zimbabwe politicians .. the govt directly attack human-rights activist and the human murderers mostly attacks the public and journalists and to the extremes they stretch their hands to the human-rights activists.
SO WHO ARE YOU IN ZIMBABWE.
MARTIN DA WILLIAM IS A HUMAN RIGHTS ACTIVIST and politely asks the MDC-T to follow true democracy before human rights activists loss confidence in them.

  3. dont write things you dont know Jongwe was never SG of MDC get your facts right.Havr you started writing and manipulating history like your sister party ZANU?mORGAN IS NOT A GOOD LEADER.hE GOT VOTES BECAUSE pweople were angry with ZANU and esperate for chnage.

  4. Let these guys come to power and it will be dog eat dog. Don’t say I did not warn you. Its a kind of democracy they enjoy. Watch them closely.

  5. Cuba trained teacher Martin Da William, you actually benefited from this teacher training program, a Zanu Pf brainchild. Am so glad you have come to realise how undemocratic your movement for democratic change is. Even though, your advice is very stupid. Morgay akanyenga ega akadiwa kusvikira amutyora gumbo saka zanu yapinda papi

  6. This Chinyanga is a complete attention seeking muppet. For starters those MPs are ordinary members of the party and have no power to suspend, expel or discipline a member of the party.
Secondly whatever Morgan shortcomings with regards to his concubines has got nothing to do with MDC as an organisation, neither is it a violation of its code to warrant a disciplinary action.Thats a private matter, not withstanding that it affects his public image as head of MDC.
Thirdly,it is pathetic that even the shallow reporter doesnt know that Learnmore Jongwe was never the Sec Gen of the party. That has always been Welshman Ncube till the split when Biti took over.Jongwe was the Sec for information and publicity, therefore spokesperson of the party.
Lastly Chinyanga purports to be president of a shadowy grouping Zimbabwe gvt in Exile. How does he become also a member of MDCT.
    Pathetic clown

  7. I have always doubted the so called zim professionals, the have nothing to show of about their education except poverty and stupid statements

  8. Simply I said Tsvangirai must face party discipline for his actions of impregnating women and abandoning them with their children. I am a professional also and I believe that conduct must not be practised by my Prime Minster who must lead by example. I do not see why I should be fired for simply expressing my self in a democratic party. That’s what democracy is all about. And if this was happening here in Britain or in other democratic states where were going to see such displines or the prime minster doing a national apology. I think the PM is committing his own suicide if he ignores me. Thank you.

  9. This article does not make sense at all. This young man should come out in the open and say why he was,”fired”There is a tendency for these people who have the comfort of being ikoko to want subscribe ideas that are unpaletable, like Saying HE P.M should be removed because of,”sex scandale”.What sex scandale? This holier than thou attitude should stop. The only sympathy i have is to the PM who was honest enough to say,”kurima kwandikona, kange mbeu.”He could have chosen kungoroora orega kunocollecter mukadzi wacho kumba kwavo, asi he chose to be truthful. We are going to vote for Tsvangirai, history has shown, look at our southerly neighbours, they tried mabhunu kumsunga, kumukanganisa zita rake but where is he now. This type of propaganda does not work,Tsvangirai haana kuti nhumbu ngaibviswe, and yet in matebeleland Gukurahundi, pregnent woman were bayoneted by the 5th brigade. So who is more evil, more brutal?

  10. I wonder if Martin Chinyanga Da William or the author of this article understand how the MDC constitution works with regards to disciplinary procedures. In MDC neither the president of the party nor any senior member can single handed expel you for any reason more so through the social network. This was just a heated debate with some sense of humor. Mr Martin Chinyanga Da William considering the amount of time you spent in cuba one would think you are learned and have good knowledge of how these constitutional matters works unless you are looking for publicity

  11. There is surely an element of insanity about all this. Surely to suggest that Learnmore Jonjwe’s wife behaviour was engineered by ZANU PF is silly. To suggest that Tsvangirayi’s affair with Lorcadia could have been engineered by ZANU PF is balmy.
