A huge python was yesterday spotted on the tarred road in Nyanga as it basked in the sun.
The reptile was seen by workers from the Cheetah Conservation Project Zimbabwe. They wrote Thursday, “today we saw this beautiful python sunbathing on the road close to Nyanga.
“We obviously stopped to take a picture, but also to make sure no one would run it over. As we’d never dealt with a python this size before, we were not completely sure about how to try and chase it of the road.

“A passing national parks ranger had clearly done this before, he simply broke off a large stick and herded this magnificent snake to safety.”
