President Robert Mugabe rushed to hold an urgent Extra-Ordinary Central Committee meeting at the Shake-Shake building Wednesday morning as he began making announcements.
The meeting began at 10am and its end time is not known as Mr Mugabe blows open the lid on his chosen few, his vision for the party, country and the new presidium.
A senior ZANU PF source who cannot be named told this reporter: “vaMugabe will make known everything in this meeting, just wait outside and you will see once we have finished.”
According to the ZANU PF Constitution, Mugabe can only appoint his deputies during a Congress session. But since this meeting is not a Congress sitting, the Central Committee assumes the role of Congress.
It was not possible to obtain  the full list of Mugabe’s new personally handpicked Politburo, those he last week referred to as “The Loyal Ones.” Verified details reveal that his wife Grace last week blocked his choice Emmerson Mnangagwa (READ MORE -BREAKING NEWS:Grace Mugabe Deletes Mnangagwa from Presidential Roll).
