Staff Reporter |Pastor Evan Mawarire has just received a standing ovation at an event organised by the Atlantic Council think-tank to “discuss the significance of the campaign and next steps toward securing a peaceful and prosperous future” for Zimbabwe.
#ThisFlag Mawarire made an emotional presentation on the harsh reality of Zanu PF’s brutality, Zimbabweans are daily enduring.
The pastor who could not hold back his tears, spoke from the heart as he narrated police brutality and how today Zimbabweans are under siege once again. “Today unarmed citizens were beaten, they can beat us but we will only get stronger.”
Mawarire said the Zimbabwe flag was no longer a symbol of shame one that in the past Zimbabweans ran from.
He narrated Zimbabwe’s struggle against President Robert Mugabe over the years, calling on regional bodies such as SADC and the African Union with no success, “Nobody loves Zimbabwe, more than Zimbabweans we can only do it for ourselves.”
The function was still on at the time of writing.

we are a damaged people, can no longer see any good in each other, can no longer trust one another. its not our fault we have been through a lot. but how long are we to go on like this, at some point we have to heal ourselves and resist the call of protectionism. surely this level of cynicism only plays into the enemy’s hands. whatever the case, the pastor has a voice and we need as many of them as possible, esp since most of us will speak in the comforts of our homes.

Fuck the pastor, you won’t beat Mugabe and his thieves by using anything other than force…”FORCED REMOVAL” is what it will take! If you honestly believe that you can beat him through the ballot box then you all need your heads read because there is no way that he will make the same mistakes again. They have stolen so much for so long that they will do anything to remain in power. Believe me I know, as I am in the thick of things being a senior member of the ZNA. If we reverted to forced removal of all his thieving thugs and all their hangers on, the minute this idiot dies, the operation would be all over in 7 days. It will take a few days hunting down all the thieves as they would be in hiding. We know for a fact that all the army chaps will lay down their guns the minute they are told to do so. We have our eyes on the Mugabe loyalists who we think will cause problems, but dealing with them will be easy.

What evidence do you have to show that he was raised by prostitutes and thieves? It is not too late to apologise to Peter.
