CIOs Can’t Read Your Whatsapp Messages | EVIDENCE

Zimbabwe’s Central intelligence Organisation, CIO, has no ability whatsoever to read people’s Whatsapp messages.
In fact, not even the powerful US FBI and the British intelligence agencies can penetrate Whatsapp messages due to the sophisticated end-to-end encryption on the network.
The discovery has seen British Prime Minister David Cameron begin pressing ahead with new legislation to ban Whatsapp in that country.

“That is something we are looking into but we have failed so far, but if the Americans can’t, it does not necessarily mean we can’t ,” one CIO agent admitted in Harare last year.
Encryption is a sophisticated process of encoding messages or information in such a way that only the authorized people can read it.
Cameron is thus seeking to stop people from sending any form of encrypted messages.
A number of popular messaging services – including WhatsApp, iMessage and Snapchat – currently scramble communications between their users, the UK Telegraph reported.
“In our country, do we want to allow a means of communication between people which we cannot read?” explained Prime Minister Cameron earlier this year. My answer to that question is: ‘No, we must not’,” said Cameron.
The only way the intelligence agents could possibly read Whatsapp messages is by voluntary procurement. This is when a user has surrendered their mobile-phone or a receiving gadget has fallen into the hands of the CIO. Even hacking is not possible and the only form of intrusion is possible when the owner or user, volunteers to reinstall their account onto an infected device.
Using Spy Software
Some dodgy companies on the internet have begun claiming that using a spy software program one can easily snoop into WhatsApp messages.
Although there is large number of companies marketing so called WhatsApp Spy Programs on the market today, none of them work without a voluntary window having been specifically opened at the host device and that by the user themselves. There thus exists no method whatsoever that can make it possible to read messages remotely.

  1. Fair comment but the truth is anything which is encrypted can be decrypted. The Whattsapp service whoever introduced the encryption can read whatever message has been through the whattsapp server if they needed to.

  2. I am doing a Phd on the security of computer networks. WHATSAPP uses a type of network called MANET (Mobile Ad Hoc Network) which is a self-configuring network that has no central administration as in cellular, Wifi, LAN and other networks. It is ad hoc meaning the network is created during a communications session between the two parties and dies off when the link is broken. YOU CANNOT INTERCEPT SOMETHING AD HOC

  3. As an IT Engineer i can tell you that you can’t. Unless if you get hold of the phone and somehow manage to log in then yes. Besides that no sir. For your info I have made chat systems too and studied Data security and Encryption. In order to decrypt this, you would need a super computer than has not been made yet.

Totally laughable – The Zimbabean CIO could’t find its own backside with the lights on !

  11. An article inter-concocted by intelligence of different countries to prevent people from stopping the use of Whatsapp were they cheaply obtained all evidence into the operations of syndicates and targeted individuals. There is nothing technological that cannot be spied on i can guarantee you that. All they want is to misrepresent you into believing you are now safe on Whatsapp. Beware vana vangu.
