Rescues Family…Edgars Zimbabwe

Sheillah Sibanda |Following an appeal by John Jemwa and his family for cash assistance to start a popcorn business, Edgars Zimbabwe has responded by donating a Gas Popcon machine valued at R6000. The machine is still in South Africa though, yet to be collected.
Jemwa who is part of the ZimEye.com community made his appeal for help and at last has received a substantial donation. Jemwa’s story will bring tears to any reader, he narrated before; “We are a disabled family of three, I John Munetsi Jemwa visual disability my wife Vimbai Hove physical disability and our two year, nine months old daughter who is visually disabled.”
The family is now appealing for further assistance in cash around $700, or R9800, to enable them to purchase the remaining equipment to kick start their intended business.
They still need the following, a Gas Cylinder R1000, a machine cart to carry the Glass machine arround R2600, Popcorn Packaging and spices R3700 and bus fare plus machine carriage to collect the machine from Johannesburg R2500.
Jemwa said he is so thankful,  “I thank Edgar’s Zimbabwe for their helping hand in a country currently in an economic crisis. The Gas popcorn Machine will go a long way in bringing Economic independence.”
I greatly appreciate the publication of my plight by Zimeye.com, and I thank them for all the space the media house gave me on their website.”
