An accident has just occurred this morning in which scores of people are feared dead after a commuter omnibus travelling from Harare to Chitungwiza collided with a lorry near Irvines Chicken along Glen Norah-Chitungwiza roads. The accident location is at Irvines Chickens near Mbudzi round about along Chitungwiza road. Details to follow…

There will always be problems like this when mass transit is entrusted to individuals (private vehicle owners, in a largely lawless country). I bet the number of innocent travellers killed while using public transport in Mugabe’s 36 years of rule already surpasses those killed in similar circumstances during the white man’s almost 90 years’ tenure. Pathetic governance.
