The opposition will make history today when all their leaders join hands in a mass
demonstration to push for electoral reforms. The demo will be held under the banner of the National Electoral Reforms Agenda (NERA), in which the parties agitate that for Zimbabwe to return to normalcy a credible election is pivotal. In this vein the parties are demanding comprehensive electoral reforms which they have petitioned government over and threatened more massive demos to force them through.
Among the leaders today will be MDC President Morgan Tsvangirai, Zimbabwe People First leader, Joice Mujuru, Progressive Democrats of Zimbabwe leader, Barbara Nyagomo, MDC Green leader, Welshman Ncube among others.
This is the first time opposition parties have forged cooperation in pushing a common agenda forward. ZimEye will bring LIVE UPDATES of the demo here.

Getting all these opposition parties to sign on to National Electoral Reform Agenda was a significant achievement it is a great pity that the electoral reforms will NOT deliver the free and fair elections even if Zanu PF was to implement them. This is a waste of time!
