A Bikita man, last Saturday, squandered his mother’s money on a sex worker in whose bedroom he is also alleged to have later committed suicide in.
Brighton Haisa went on a drinking binge at Nyika Growth Point and hooked up with the sex worker.
ZimEye.com is reliably informed Haisa was sent to collect money for a beast his mother had sold in Masvingo.
On his way back from Masvingo, Haisa squandered the collected cash with Proud with whom he unfortunately later had an altercation with.
This aggravated Haisa then locked himself inside Proud’s bedroom and drank poison.
According to a report compiled by Bikita Police, when Proud returned to the room she realised it was locked and pleaded with Haisa to open the door.
This continued for some time until the police had to be called in to assist.
The following day,the police had to break into the room to gain access into the the room in which they found Haisa’s lifeless body on the floor.
His body was then taken to Silveira Mission Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
