As President Robert Mugabe’s troubles mount, former Vice President Joice Mujuru today (Saturday) mutilated her former boss in the wake of the historic war veterans’ ultimatum on the Head of State to resign with immediate effect.
She also officially backed the war vets who Thursday militantly told Mugabe to his face that his time is over and he must resign “or else”.
For the first time in her political career, Mujuru directly attacked Mugabe labelling him “evil” as ZimEye.com reveals.
In what was her best rally ever with over 6000 who attended her Marondera stadium function which was packed to the brim, Mujuru’s speech exclusively covered by ZimEye.com, was well polished, far much better than before.
Unlike at other times when she spoke in timid riddles, shying away from attacking her former boss Robert Mugabe, Mujuru was today very direct and hit straight between Mugabe’s eyes. She for the first time threatened Mugabe true to her war name “spill blood” (war-name). She used the threatening noun “Gandanga” – Destroyer to describe herself in what sounded like a final warning at Mugabe since he has started another war on Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
“We are the real Gandangas, we are the ones who are now saying, this old man has become evil(Tisu vacho magandanga tirikuti Mukuru uyu aipa uyu)!, ” Mujuru said as she set herself as a fearless, unique brand in the formerly hot ZANU PF stronghold area, Mashonaland East.
She also stood out to support the war veterans who on Thursday issued Mugabe an ultimatum to leave office or else. She said their farms and pensions remain theirs and Mugabe cannot take them away. READ MORE ON THE LIVE UPDATES HERE
