Joice Mujuru’s gunfire with which she is said to have downed a helicopter is just as good as “funfire” in regards to qualifying to lead the nation. What one did 40 years ago is no qualifying credit for leadership. What matters rather is an aspirant’s ability to steer the Analysisnation into the future, 40 years from today, corporate lawyer Fadzayi Mahere says. Her comments come as Mujuru’s party celebrated a historic rally in Binga where Mrs Mujuru received a resounding welcome, in what her followers say will doubtlessly make her Zimbabwe’s first female President, replacing her former boss of a 39 year boss-junior relationship, Robert Mugabe.
Writing at the weekend, Mahere said, “the criterion for whether or not a person is fit to lead Zimbabwe is not how many helicopters he or she shot down during the war, much less so the details of their sex life forty years ago.
“It is whether or not they have a viable plan for the future of this country.
“Our handicap as a nation is that we obsess about the past, are in denial about the present and don’t care enough about the future.
“So the question to ask these politicians is not what they did forty years ago but where they see Zimbabwe in forty years time? What is the plan? Where is the well-crafted strategy?
“Let’s make Zimbabwe great again. #thisflag #hatichada #hatichatya “

I side with you brother,We all have skeletons in our cupboards!!!But what separate us is how one moves forward!!.Zanu has no plan for the future they are obsessed with firefighting to keep themselves in power. We are tired about their mudslinging antics. The good thing is people are now aware of there hogwash lies, that’s why opposition rallies are now receiving massive turn-ups
