Pastor Who Told Mugabe The Truth’s Court Case Shifted Again

The Kariba based Pastor Patrick Mugadza who was arrested for telling President Robert Mugabe the truth on how people are suffering during the ZANU PF congress in December, had his case shifted once again yesterday.
Mugadza’s case was to be heard before magistrate Lindiwe Maphosa who lugged it once again, ZimEye.com has learnt.
After travelling all the way from Kariba, Mugadza was told the case can only be heard on the 11th February. More frustration also came as the courts are furthermore sitting on Mugadza’s application for the case to be escalated to the Constitutional Court.

His lawyer from the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights, Thulani Nkala of Dube and Company argues that Mugadza’s prosecution is a violation of his constitutional rights and must be heard at the ConCourt. More to follow…

  5. Hapana nyaya apa.They should just let the Pastor go and attend to more serious Cases.Shifting dates and pushing things back shows they have a shaky case against the Pastor,its so laughable yet there is brutal Murderers inside Zanu PF that are enjoying impunity.Shame on Zim the Failed State.
