Dear Editor.
A man has just committed suicide at Construction house, Harare.
He jumped from the 8th floor. Hanzi akanyimwa pay – he was denied his salary and was simply reacting to that.
I am standing there right now and people are still wondering what could have happened here..

  1. In Tunisia when a youthful man had been tormented this far by the system – politically and economically, he doused himself with fuel and ignited it. And the Arab spring was set into motion. They all said enough is enough, it shall not go beyond this! In Zimbabwe, he would have burned alone and people would have gathered and said ooooooh! Iiiiiiiih! And life goes on.

  3. Sad inga zvakaoma. Murume uyu was going through a lot of stress and trauma. That is why I think that these employers vanyanya kusabhadhara vanhu ma pay avo. There should be a law inoti any employer who fails to pay an employee salary yake should be jailed for at least one year” not this long process yeku Labour Court which does not yield anything. Munhu unongotenderedzwa ugotenderedzwa ne ma Courts apa iwe you need money to survive”.
