In a twist and turn of events, controversial soothsayer, Emmanuel Makandiwa, who is the leader of the United Family International Church (UFIC), has begun backing bond notes that are set to be introduced in October, saying every country should have its own form of trading tool.
Makandiwa had previously spoken against bond notes also predicting in a prophecy, that President Robert Mugabe’s end was near; “There will be a wave of demonstrations, they would stop, and start again and on the fourth time the situation will get out of hand and foreign peace-keepers will be called (sic). Remember, my prophecy about bees flying to come to bite other bees that will be stinging the people,” Makandiwa at that time, said during his Sunday service streamed live on YouTube.
This was Makandiwa’s first reversal of another prophecy delivered earlier on the 31st December 2015 when he charged claiming God had revealed to him that under Mugabe Zimbabwe is going to prosper in 2016: is going to have no sorrow and no depression.
In another prediction twist earlier in 2014 Makandiwa had said the economy would boom as gold would mysteriously bulge out of the ground everywhere and Zimbabweans would freely pick up the precious mineral like stones. That did not happen.
Meanwhile, the preacher was after his 2016 rubbishing of bond notes, immediately attacked by the long time Robert Mugabe supporter, Johannes Ndanga, the president of the Apostolic Christian Council of Zimbabwe (ACCZ), who threw his weight behind the introduction of bond notes. Ndanga speaking through state media said, “The man (Makandiwa) that refused the bond notes clearly stated that he doesn’t trust the Reserve Bank Governor (Dr John Mangudya) even if what he has planned makes sense.”
Ndanga went further to bizarrely claim that the “Holy Spirit” had revealed to his church last year that Zimbabwe would produce a local currency that would only be used locally.

Last week ZimEye.com revealed a CIO plot to arrest Makandiwa who has for years enjoyed police protection despite a plethora of underhand dealings. This would be due to his latest attacks on ZANU PF policies under the guise of so called “prophecy.”

Makandiwa so called “prophecy” has since been changed by the preacher who claims to be the authoritative voice of God the Creator. The Mugabe owned state media reports celebrating that he has since reversed his prediction and while addressing thousands of people during this year’s edition of Judgment Night 4, Makandiwa said people cannot claim to be blessed when they are only using the United States dollar, a foreign currency.
“Some people requested to hear my view on bond notes and I told them that we should use our own currency for God to bless us,” he said. The charismatic prophet also said Africans should not depend on foreign investors, rather they should exploit Africa’s natural resources.
“God did not create us to be poor, He created us to be in charge of what we are supposed to do. Christians should not survive with salaries only, we should open companies because God gave us the anointing long back.
“What we should know as Africans is that everything started here is Africa,” he said. He also spoke on how missionaries abused the word of God in their quest to loot Africa’s diamonds, gold and other precious stones.
“They came here years ago and discovered that we had vast minerals, they abused the word of God. On one hand, they were holding the Bible while on the other they were holding maps. They wanted to control our wealth.

United Family International Church founder Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa on Friday said he decided to move his annual all night prayer meeting dubbed the Judgement Night 4 to the outskirts of Harare after God told him the capital would be covered in mist, in apparent reference to teargas and protests rocking the city.

Police last week teargassed Harare residents indiscriminately in an attempt to break a High Court sanctioned demonstration by 18 opposition parties that were demanding electoral reforms.
Makandiwa has held previous prayer meetings at the National Sports Stadium but Friday’s event was moved to UFIC headquarters in Mt Hampden. He said he got the vision about the mist last year.
“We knew it just before Judgement Night 3 when we were having a meeting assessing how it went,” he said.
“We set this date last year and God told me that you will be doing it in the midst of a mist and God said move away from the mist. Go far away.”
Makandiwa has in the past prophesised about chaos in Zimbabwe. He told the congregants that he was praying for them to come out of poverty.
“I picked something in the spirit. God said those who are able to attend do all that you can to make them. They will come and present themselves before me,” he said.
“Do a process and pluck poverty out of their lives. Even if you are sleeping your life will still change.”.
Preaching to an estimated 60 000 church followers, Makandiwa said Zimbabwe could not take pride in using another country’s currency or the proposed bond notes.
“The US dollar is good, but it is not your currency, just like the bond notes,” he said.
Government plans to introduce bond notes this year to mitigate the current cash shortages. The bond notes would be backed by a $200 million Afreximbank facility.
Despite widespread resistance, Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe governor John Mangudya has maintained that the central bank would forge ahead with plans to introduce the notes in October.
Makandiwa early this year said the country should have its own currency backed by gold reserves.
On Friday, the UFIC founder said while Africa was endowed with mineral resources, it remained poor and infested with evil spirits.
He said where ever there was a concentration of mineral resources, like the situation in Africa; there would also be a concentration of evil spirits.
“In Africa, we have everything that we need, but look at you. If Africa was taken away from the Africans, you will be amazed with what Africa can produce,” Makandiwa said.
He said God loved Africa from the beginning, but the status of the continent had Biblical origins.
Makandiwa added that Africans lacked confidence in themselves and wanted to depend on foreigners in the form of investors, an issue that had its origins in Egypt when Pharaoh depended on the Israelites and didn’t want them to leave the continent when God wanted them to.
Foreigners, Makandiwa said, had information about Africa’s mineral resources after taking aerial maps, but were waiting to bounce back on continent for the resources after Africa’s population is decimated.
“Even when the colonisers came, they came with a bible in one hand and a map in the other hand. The map had all the information on the mineral resources of the continent,” he said.
“They turned the areas with minerals into game parks to preserve them so that they will come for it when Jesus comes, because Jesus said you should trade.
“A baboon is sitting on your mineral riches somewhere in the park right now, and the whites will come for it one day,” he said.
Meanwhile, the church witnessed the presentation of babies that were conceived after Judgement Night 3 after Makandiwa called for an altar call for people who were barren.
UFIC pastor Ado Nyakudya said the church had received reports from all over the world of 700 babies that were born after Judgement Night 3 prayers.
Musicians that included Leonard Zhakata, Lawrence Gunda, Michael Mahendere, Herbert Chigumira, UFIC choir and others entertained the crowds during the night.
The service was attended by people from all over the world and politicians that included councillor Musa Gwasira, Brighton Matonga and Psychology Maziwisa, among others.

Why is he talking about our own currency when any sane person knows that the facts on the ground do not support that. That is the reason why ZANU PF thugs are going for the bond notes. Your so called prophet should know better that we all need our own currency, and that does not need prophecy. The only condition though is that fundamentals should support that.

Prophet Makandiwa never at any time endorsed bond notes but he put it plainly,openly that Zimbabwe like every other nation must HAVE ITS OWN CURRENCY which is normal not rely on US$. He didnt even prophecy that 2016 will be a good year for Zimbabwe. Infact he clearly said 2016 will be a hard year for most Zimbabweans (there is evidence of videos of that) but he also prophecied a great harvest for his sons and daughters like me who are harvesting greatly in this “hard year” He actually gave us a verse of Isaac who planted in a drought and got a hundred fold in support of that prophecy.
The problem with ZImEye is you don’t attend UFIC services and you speculate what the man of God would have said. Prophet Makandiwa is the most accurate prophet in this generation. You can check each and every prophecy he has made and you can clearly see that he is a serial seer.
About Gold, check the statistics of how much Gold is being picked by makorokoza from the time of prophecy. It is public knowledge that Zimbabweans are picking gold like never before. Though formal mines were shutting down but gold being declared in the country has actually doubled. What do you say about that Zimeye?
Prophet Makandiwa is in his own league. There is nothing you can do to about it except to follow him as you are doing. Keep on following him of course he is the right man to follow.
