Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa has come out a winner as the Zanu PF party cleared Gokwe-Nembudziya legislator, Justice Mayor Wadyajena, of his anti-Grace Mugabe utterances.
The decision to exonerate Wadyajena was arrived at by the party’s disciplinary committee set up by the Zanu PF Midlands Province to investigate him.

Wadyajena was arrested during the party’s 15th Annual National People’s Conference in Victoria Falls after allegations levelled against him by  Jimayi Muduvuri.
In a report signed by  John Holder as Chairman and Colleta Mutambisi as Secretary, the Zanu PF Midlands Province Disciplinary Committee, resolved that the allegations raised by  Muduvuri against  Wadyajena must be dismissed with the contempt they deserve.
Muduvuri had alleged that Wadyajena had insulted and uttered words which denigrate the person of the First Lady,  Grace Mugabe.
In dismissing the allegations, the disciplinary committee noted that  Muduvuri has an interest in the Gokwe-Nembudziya constituency where Wadyajena is the incumbent National Assembly member as the former unsuccessfully tried to contest for the seat in 2013, hence he is motivated to lie and misrepresent facts.
The committee also noted that Wadyajena is one of the first people to brand his vehicles with the First Lady’s portrait including the one he was using on the day in question.
According to the report, allegations raised by Muduvuri that Wadyajena asked him to remove the First Lady’s posters from his vehicle and or criminally insulted her, are devoid of any sense and therefore have no credibility.
Senior members of the party Ezra Ruvai Chadzamira and  Jeppy Jaboon, who were present when the alleged incident occurred, provided evidence which corroborated Wadyajena’s version of what transpired.
The committee recommended that Wadyajena must continue as the Chairman of the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Youth Development, Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment as well as continue to represent the people of Gokwe-Nembudziya.
