Staff Reporter |Zimbabweans who participated on this morning’s ZimEye Live-Report programme have overwhelmingly endorsed the #ThisFlag Pastor Evan Mawarire, dismissing all negative allegations that have been circulating on social media about him.
This morning ZimEye.com had a telephone call from the Scotland based preacher Mr Howard Nyoni, who claimed that #ThisFlag Pastor Evan Mawarire is currently in South-Africa for secret meetings with Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa. Other theories have also been circulating on social media about the Pastor who has captured souls and minds not just in Zimbabwe but globally too.
Opposition circles have had a tendency of labeling competitors either “state agents” or Zanu PF. ZimEye’s Simba Chikanza talks to Mr Nyoni about his claims and also engages the ZimEye community on the same.

Just a good citizen supporting the good cause for the nation. They had to release him because he did nothing against the law and many and let me repeat MANY people were behind him. We prayed, we sang for his release and some even cried when he was released. Zimbabweans are desperate, nhamo yacho yanyanya. We are glad the pastor is not shouting slogans like the others do, he is not talking about votes, he is not talking politics he is just reminding the government in power to change their evil deeds. Thats no crime at all and thats obviously not zanupf. Will keep on making some silent noise.

If you want my honest opinion I don’t think us Shona boys have it in us to take this fight through to the end. I can assure you, from the inside information I have been given, and it comes from very reliable sources, the Pastor is a ZANU agent, thought up and run by the CIO…that has been confirmed 100%! I want to mention something else which 99.9% of us Shona boys are too ashamed of even thinking about let alone talking about it publicly, if we employed the services of 20 white special forces chaps to remove all these thieves from power for good, it would all be over in a few days and I doubt whether there’d be many casualties as these chaps are always pro when it comes to fighting in places like Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan and places in West Africa. They don’t like talking, preferring to get on and do the job. Come on man you have to admit that when you look at the ZNA we all know that most of them would run a mile if they 50 of them came face to face with 20 white boys! And please don’t for one minute throw the “we won the war” scenario at me because we didn’t, it was settled around a table, what one refers to as a peaceful solution, neither side surrendered, they were forced into calling it a day by the Westerners. The most dangerous party to Zimbabweans now is the party that thinks that it is the only one with a right to oppose Zanupf. If by any chance this party gets to power its repression and dictatorship will by far surpass the one from Zanupf.
