Booted…Gershom Pasi
Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) has suspended its Commissioner General, Mr Gershom Pasi.
Pasi was booted together with five other executive managers.
The six were today sent on paid leave with immediate effect.
The move comes after Pasi garnished ZANU PF youth Acie Lumumba’s company bank account.
It also turned out that 100 other companies have suffered the same fate in the last 4 weeks.
In the build up to today’s development, there had been mounting criticism over the garnishee orders, with many arguing that this has bankrupted many businesses.
But Pasi in response challenged business executives to bring evidence of any firm that has closed because of the taxman.

  3. Mr Pass placed a garnished order on us as a township over rates: something that has never been done before. If we were a company we would be closing down. We are just a bunch of zimbabweans trying to live. Also my money is still stuck in Tetrad where he was involved?????? I have many questions. He must go like they all must go
