Terrence Mawawa, Masvingo |The Jerera Petrol Bomb incident is a matter of concern that needs immediate attention from the National Peace and Reconciliation Commission, an MDC official has said.
MDC Secretary for Welfare, Masvingo Urban Constituency, Philip Mugabe last week said the party would press the commission to address the matter.
“Kindly note that the National Peace and Reconciliation Commission consultative meeting for Masvingo Province is scheduled for the 2nd of March at Great Zim University Law School.
You are kindly requested to attend and invite youth organisations to the meeting.
We want the commission to address the Jerera Petrol Bomb incident as a matter of urgency,” said Mugabe.
Three MDC supporters died after the party office was petrol bombed by soldiers and Zanu PF supporters ahead of the bloody 2008 Presidential Election Rerun.
