Ngarivhume also took time sharing notes on expectations of an elective Congress that includes transparency.
He also took that opportunity to invite Civic organisations to come and witness and be part of government in waiting inaugural Congress.
Ngarivhume revealed that the Congress will now be held on the 23-24 March 2018 at Mandela Hall, Harare Exhibition Park. He encouraged members to prepare not only for Congress but also for the forthcoming elections. Those who have not yet registered were encouraged to visit registration centres that are still open to register.
Members eagerly donated in cash and in kind towards the successful holding of the Congress.
To close up the meeting TZ President Jacob Ngarivhume was treated to a surprise belated birthday party and he was showered with presents. He turned 41 years on the 20th of February.
