A local female vendor is in the process of lodging a complaint about sexual harassment – with Masvingo City Council- following a municipal cop’ s suggestive comments.

The female vendor who sells her merchandise at Masvingo Downtown Terminus has expressed dismay at the municipal cop’ s conduct.

The woman identified herself as Mai Brendon.

She said: “Last week a group of municipal police officers descended on the terminus and grabbed our goods.

The tall and lanky municipal cop(name supplied) called me and said if I wanted to get back my goods, I should have sex with him.

He also promised to look after me although I am a married woman.

I will visit the council offices to lodge a formal complaint.”
