His death quickly aroused anger among foreign students in Algeria, especially those from sub-Saharan countries. Prosper Ndudzo’s comrades gathered in front of a police station in the same neighborhood to protest the insecurity

Contacted by Reporters, a close friend of the victim claimed that “foreign students have been subjected to several assaults lately. Our friend was killed right outside the doors of the university campus. This is neither the first nor the tenth aggression of one of the foreign students “.

The death of the young student also aroused anger among Algerians, who relayed mass images of Prosper Ndudzo.

Admitted to the bachelor of my country (Zimbabwe) in 2013 and among the best, I was selected for a university scholarship in Algeria.

From an English-speaking country, I had to do a year of French-language studies to start university studies.

Enrolled in the first year of science and technology at Badji Mokhtar University in annaba, I later turned to electrical engineering.

In this year 2019 I was doing my master 2 in electrical engineering and I was already preparing my end-of – All excited to be able to finish, go back to my country, see my parents and friends and start my professional
Alas! It was quite different.
Tuesday, February 05, 2019 at 19 am I went to the restaurant of our university city for dinner as usual for 5 years. That night, it rained a lot, and there was a strike of Algerian students at the restaurant level, so I had to go out to pay condiments and come cook. Accompanied by my friend and companion of every day we went to the market. On the way back, there are some young people in the neighborhood who I was stabbed with a knife in the thigh, the perpetrators of this heinous act fled. I was starting to bleed out because the wound was deep enough, and I end up losing consciousness. My friend who was with me that night, dragged me to the middle of the tar, so that the passers-by would I will never forget that algerian motorists will tò my body lying on the ground while emptying my blood, without stopping, or calling the ambulance, or preventing the police station that was just 200 metres from There.

And it was only over an hour later that the rescue came. Transported to el hadjar hospital, I returned the soul in the afternoon of the next day; so far from my homeland.

Tell my mom, my dad, and my brothers and sisters that they won’t see me anymore. Tell them that, come to acquire knowledge in a distant country, I will return to a coffin instead of returning with a diploma. Tell them that racism and xenophobia have been right in my life.
