Deadline: 15 February 2019 (1pm)

The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Zimbabwe is a local humanitarian NGO of the Seventh-day Adventist Church working in Zimbabwe for over 30 years.

ADRA Zimbabwe believes that: Through its humanitarian acts, we make known the just, merciful, and loving character of God; To work with those in need is an expression of the love for God; Non-discrimination and respect for differences, accepting people as equals, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, and political or religious affiliation enrich the communities in which we work and are assets to be respected and affirmed.

ADRA Zimbabwe, in collaboration with other renowned institutions and countries, seeks to expand the evidence base for the Live More Abundantly (LMA) approach to preventing, reducing and/ or reversing risk-factors for non-communicable diseases (NCDs). The LMA has already been tested in the South Pacific and is currently being tested in Asia. The proposed pilot will expand the evidence base for LMA model through research in Southern African context in Zimbabwe.

Project Scope
The project is an innovative approach being tested to fill the lack of non-medicalised NCD risk reduction solutions in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMIC).
