By Stanley Goreraza: The picture of Emmerson Mnangagwa will give you a better understanding of the man he really is.

During the time he was Speaker of Parliament, a United Nations Investigation into the criminal plunder of resources in the DRC fingered him as the ring leader of the biggest illicit diamond smuggling syndicate from the DRC.

Also included on the list was Zvinavashe, Chiwenga, SB Moyo and others in the CIO and police. The diamonds would be transported into Zimbabwe via Military aircraft and then moved to various parts of the world.

For decades now, Mnangagwa has been notorious for doubling as the biggest buyer of gold in the Midlands and the godfather of gold smuggling out of Zimbabwe.

When Didymus Mutasa was kicked out of government, he revealed that the most prominent looter of diamonds in Chiadzwa was Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Late last year this was corroborated by Lawrence Kamwi who served in the former Presidents office. Mnangagwa and Chiwenga determined who could and could not mine diamonds in Chiadzwa. The two gentlemen have never ever brought up the sad issue of diamond looting and smuggling in Chiadzwa because they were in charge of it.

Many of the senior leaders in Lacoste who supported Mnangagwa during his cold turned hot war with G40, did so because they were beholden to him. Mnangagwa made them rich including Queen Bee Tagwirei.

The Mafia took over in Zimbabwe and with guns and authority, people should not be surprised when they shoot and kill citizens, rape and torture. They are just being who they are, the Mafia.

Mnangagwa tried to put on a happy face to fool the world but the mask has been steadily coming off. Even his language now has changed. He has gone full gangster with the threats and the screw face.

God help Zimbabwe.
