Farai Dziva| Sugar manufacturing giant Tongaat Hulett has announced new prices of the commodity.

Tongaat Hulett has indicated that the price of sugar has increased to $17 per 2KG while 5KG will be sold at $43 and 10KG at $86.

A company official said the new prices were effected as a result of escalating production costs.

“This situation is beyond our control,” said the official.
