Farai Dziva|The European Union has urged Emmerson Mnangagwa’s government to locate Dr Peter Magombeyi.

In a statement on Wednesday morning, the EU urged the government to act swiftly to bring Dr Magombeyi home safely.

“Dr Magombeyi is still missing more than 3 days after he vanished. We can only imagine the agony this causes his family and friends.

The government needs to act swiftly as per court order and do all it can to find him, to bring him home safe and the perpetrators to justice.

Following Dr Magombeyi’s abduction, doctors and other health workers at the country’s public health institutions have downed tools, demanding his immediate release.”
