The Blue Roof Mansion

Paul Nyathi|Former First Lady Grace Mugabe has reportedly been issued with a court order to cede part of the land under her family Blue Roof Mansion.

According to the reports, the Deputy Sherriff’s office issued Grace Mugabe with a warrant of ejection on part of the property in favour of Farai Nigel Chitsinde and Nyasha Amanda Chitsinde by Wednesday this week.

Zanu PF bought the land and donated it to Mugabe in 1999 who in turn bought 5 other adjacent properties to make his vast residence. The Chitsindes who made the court application were evicted when construction at the blue roof began to pave way for the construction.

The Chitsindes demanded return of their property through court in June this year and were awarded return of the land an order the Mugabes ignored.

The warrant of ejection sent to Grace on 4 October reads:

Now therefore you are required and directed to eject … all persons claiming through it, its goods and possessions from and out of all occupation and possession whatsoever of the said premises, and to leave the same, to the end that the said Farai Nigel Chitsinde and Nyasha Amanda Chitsinde duly represented by Constance Tsitsi Chitsinde may peaceably enter into and possess the same, and for so doing this shall be your warrant.
