A Westlea family lost property worth thousands of dollars after their home was gutted by fire.

Investigations to ascertain the cause of the fire are still underway.

Mr Andrew Mtetwa a self-employed architectural designer from Westlea is pleading for help after losing property worth USD$50 000.

“We returned from our Grade 5 daughter’s Consultation at Haig Park Primary only to discover that the roof of our house had curved inwards due to fire.

“One of our neighbours called us to inform us of the disaster but it was too late to recover some of our properties.”

The family lost documents that include passports, agreements of sale, national certificates.
