By A Correspondent- A Mufakose woman has accused her daughter-in-law of bringing traditional healers to her home.

Chipo Mademo told the Harare Civil Court where she was applying for protection order against her daughter-in-law Primrose Gamba.

She told the court that her daughter-in-law has been insulting her saying she was a witch who killed her child.

“My daughter-in-law is accusing me of being a witch.

“She is in the habit of bringing traditional healers to my homestead with bottles written my name.

“I am afraid she might kill me since she once threatened to cause me harm.”

She added:

“My son has fled away from home as he was afraid of her.

“I want her to be evicted from my place of residence since l am living in fear,” said Chipo.

Primrose said she wanted her husband back that was the reason she was acting in such a manner.

“My mother-in-law has caused my husband to abandon me and I want him back.

“I am bringing traditional healers at home so that they help me to know the reason why my child died.

“I have nowhere to go if she evicts me from home since my parents are deceased,” said Primrose.

Presiding magistrate Noah Gwatidzo ordered Primrose not to insult, assault or issue threats of death to Chipo.

Both of them were ordered to resolve their issue in peace.
