Farai Dziva|Two MDC members have been hospitalized after inhaling tear gas smoke, it has emerged.

The two inhaled tear gas smoke as police violently dispersed MDC members in Masvingo during Job Sikhala’s trial on Friday.

“In Masvingo we have two women who were affected by tear gas smoke and they are seeking medical care.

We suspect there are many citizens who were affected by the smoke.

Police are to blame for attacking peaceful citizens.

Violence erupted when a reckless police officer ordered the firing of teargas canisters on peaceful citizens,”said former Masvingo Central MP Jeffryson Chitando.
