By Jane Mlambo| MDC Councillor for Harare ward 16, Denford Ngadziore has been arrested at the Mbare Magistrates Court where he had gone to answer charges of participating in a demonstration that took place at Rotten Row court in September last year.

According to Ngadziore, the police accused him of participating in another demonstration held in Harare CBD a few weeks ago.

“I have just been arrested at Mbare Magistrates Court as I had gone to attend a court case over over a demonstration that happened in September 2019 at Rotten Row Court.

“The CID Law and Order detectives have said they are arresting me over another demonstration that happened last week but one in Harare CBD. From here they are taking me to Harare Central Police Station,” said Ngadziore.

He will be represented by Jeremiah Bamu of the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights.
