President Emmerson Mnangagwa is going ahead with the burial of late Agriculture Minister Perence Shiri after flooding the country with soldiers and police to suppress them telling him that they are suffering under his leadership.

Shiri succumbed to Covid-19 on Wednesday while on his way to hospital. He was declared a National Hero besides leaving behind a history of brutality and murders he executed as the commander of the Gukurahundi soldiers who killed over twenty thousand people in Matabeleland and the Midlands in the mid eighties.
