By Jane Mlambo| President Emmerson Mnangagwa has appointed his deputy Constantino Chiwenga to the position of Minister of Health and Child Care to replace Obadiah Moyo who was fired after being arrested on corruption charges.

In a statement from the Chief Secretary to the President Dr Misheck Sibanda, he said Mnangagwa noted the need to “stabilize, restructure and reform the National Health Delivery System to better cope with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and in the process ensuring a quick turn-around in national healthcare.”
