Zimbabwe continues to face a myriad of challenges both political and economic.

On Friday opposition forces had planned street protests across the country but their efforts were thwarted by security forces.

A number of activists have been arrested in connection with the protests. Others have been calling for the release of the investigative journalist, Hopewell Chin’ono, who was arrested and taken from his home in Harare on the 20th of July, 2020.
