Pandemonium broke out at the Zimbabwean Embassy in Pretoria yesterday during a protest against human rights abuses. The protest was in response to recent arbitrary arrests of Zimbabwean activists, opposition figures, and the continued detention of journalist Hopewell Chin’ono. Protestors have called on President Cyril Ramaphosa to intervene as an African Union chair, instead of delegating.
