By A Correspondent- The Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions has announced that all workers’ unions should mobilise their constituencies for a national strike starting Monday August 31 2020.
In a tweet posted Tuesday afternoon, the workers’ body urged workers to protest at their workplaces demanding United States dollars.
Said the ZCTU:
From Monday 31 August, we have called for workplace protests every Mondays aimed @ expressing our Demand for USD SALARIES. We are also protesting against EXPLOITATIVE Working Conditions, Deepening POVERTY Economic & Social CRISIS and Endemic CORRUPTION
All UNIONS are called to mobilize!
