Farai Dziva|MDC Alliance vice president Hon Tendai Biti has said party vice chairperson Job Sikhala should not have been arrested in the first place.

However, Hon Biti commended Sikhala’s lawyers for working hard to secure the fiery politician’s freedom.

On Tuesday Hon Biti wrote on Twitter :

Job Sikhala has been granted bail .

We are extremely indebted to the lawyers for their perseverance and tenacity.

But he shouldn’t have been arrested . It is not a crime to hold a different political view point !! #ZimbabweanLivesMatte
