MDC-T leader Dr Thokozani Khupe was yesterday declared a Member of Parliament following the conclusion of nominations and expiry of objections period, according to yesterday’s government gazette.

Khupe appointment also coincided with the gazetting of SI 225 of 2020 which indefinitely suspended the holding of by-elections until the Covid-19 pandemic is over.

Commenting on the Khupe appointment,Piers Pigou had this to say;

“With no sense of shame, Khupe and her gang usurp parliamentary seats without having secured the votes for them. Zimbabwe ‘democracy’ stinks further into the cesspool.”
