MDC-T leader Dr Thokozani Khupe reportedly left the funeral of party stalwart Esaph Mdlongwa in a huff after party supporters aligned to Nelson Chamisa booed her, forcing the now leader of the opposition in parliament to cut short her attendance at gathering.

This is according to a party supporter who shared the details on Twitter.

“Khupe was forced to leave the funeral of the late National Organiser Leader Mdlongwa after the mourners started jeering at her. Efforts by family members to calm the mourners were in vain,” the member said.
