By Jane Mlambo| Opposition MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa has scoffed at the Zanu PF sponsored anti-sanctions e-gala saying the real issues that need to be address are well known to the state though they chose to believe their own lies.

In an interview with a local weekly, The Standard, Chamisa said he is not responsible for the abduction and rape of people to be accused of causing the imposition of sanctions on the country.

“Chamisa is not a god, he is not a state that rapes people, abducts people. Chamisa is not billions of dollars that disappear,” he said.

Chamisa said he had no control over what Washington decides on Zimbabwe.

“Chamisa is also not the one who manipulates the institutions of the state.

“Don’t give me the powers that I don’t have. I don’t control Washington. I don’t have such powers.” he added.
