By Jane Mlambo| Opposition leader and convenor of the July 31 anti-corruption protest Jacob Ngarivhume has vowed to continue fighting corruption despite being arrested and having to stand endless court appearances.

Posting on Twitter soon after appearing at the Harare Magistrates Court Monday morning, Ngarivhume who was in the company of MDC Alliance Deputy Chairperson Job Sikhala said corruption should end in the Zimbabwe.

“I am undeterred by what is happening to us for challenging a corrupt system that needs to end. The hope I carry is for a better Zimbabwe. Today we live oppression, we see oppression and we feel oppression but God will set this nation free,” said Ngarivhume.

Ngarivhume was arrested in the run up to the foiled 31 July anti-corruption protests together with journalist Hopewell Chin’ono and had to endure over 40 days at Chikuurubi maximum prison.
