Tinashe Sambiri|MDC MDC Alliance Namibia chairperson, Elisha Chambara’s father, Rev M.P Chambara has died.

In a statement, the MDC Alliance described the late Rev Chambara as a source of wisdom:

Mdc Alliance Namibia district mourns the passing on of their Chairperson’s father.

Social democrats in Namibia expressed deep condolences to the bereaved Chambara family who lost a pillar and a source of wisdom. It is obvious that the revolutionaries in Namibia are grateful to the deceased great father who gave us an astute leader who is leading the freedom train.

We say May his dear soul rest in power, let God comfort the Chambara family to eternity.

Mdc Alliance Namibia described Rev M P Chambara as a hero who contributed meaningfully to national development since he was a legislator during the Rhodesia -Zimbabwe era. He then left politics and ventured full-time into the Christian ministry as a Pastor in the United Methodist Church for more than three decades. We shall forever remember him as a significant figure in our national politics as well as the religious fraternity. We shall miss you Baba our Father.

MDC A mourns the passing on of Rev M.P Chambara the father to MDCA Chairperson for Namibia leader Elisha Chambara. Rev M.P Chambara was an MP during the Rhodesia Zimbabwe era. He then left politics and went into fulltime ministry, as a Pastor in the United Methodist Church .
