Open Letter to President Mnangagwa
Dear Mr. President
#SoulJahLove was one of the most influential Zimdancehall musicians in Zimbabwe. He inspired a lot of ghetto youths with his music, including teaching them how to fish.
I went to pay my last respects at the Musaka residence earlier today and they are not happy with how some mourners are being treated by ZRP.
They asked me to ask you to waiver the covid-19 regulations a bit to allow his fans to mourn him. The family requested that his fans should at least be allowed to stand in the road observing social distancing as they bid farewell to their Zimdancehall superstar.
Their wish is to have the hearse with his body pass through Mbare and then drive to his Msasa Park residence this afternoon.
As the first citizen of Zimbabwe, I am kindly requesting you to intervene and allow his mourners to give him a befitting sendoff.
Yours Sincerely
Linda Tsungirirai Masarira
