MDC Alliance President has condemned yesterday’s assault of party chairperson Tabitha Khumalo by suspected state security agents saying the incident confirms deteriorating human rights situation in the country.

Posting on Twitter, Chamisa said;

“The barbaric and cowardly attack on MDC Alliance National Chairperson Thabitha Khumalo at her home in Bulawayo yesterday points to a deteriorating security of persons, rule of law and the human rights situation in Zimbabwe.Zimbabwe must be safe for all who live in it,”

Khumalo was attacked by yet to be known assailants who stormed her Bulawayo home and attacked, stabbing her hand in the process.
