Dear Zimbabweans.

Ours is really a curse, for how can a country endowed with vast minerals be amongst the poorest in the world. Current cases of massive gold bullion smuggling through Harare International Airport point to aw well organised cartel working with powerful people. This said airport has become a hub of criminal activity, the transit point of smuggled precious minerals, ivory and drugs. 

While the President is busy opening bridges thieves are busy milking
the country dry. How on this earth can a mere person pass through the
airport’s check points with such amount of gold undetected? If ours
wasn’t a banana republic where looting is the business of the day surely big heads must have rolled within CAAZ. The fact that its business as usual points to very powerful people behind these runners and by the time we wake up this country will be a shell.

We need a complete overhaul of all the systems that deal with governance, border control and law enforcement. Those entrusted with leadership positions must lead by example with zero tolerance for rotten eggs.
