By A Correspondent- Zanu PF Mazowe District Coordinating Committee secretary for production Tichaona Chawana said there was an urgent need by President Emmerson Mnangagwa to reform the Zimbabwe Republic Police.

Addressing residents in Mvurwi at the weekend Chawana said the police have become more devious than actual thieves.

“We no longer have a police force in Zimbabwe.  The police officers have become thieves themselves.  Recently at Mvurwi hospital there was a series of theft cases but the police were reluctant to act,” fumed Chawana.

“We hear the x-ray machine was stolen and no action was taken by the police, last time council officials swindled millions of dollars from home seekers and they took time to act only to move when a ZANU official happens to be the chairperson of the council stepped in.”

“ZANU PF is supreme we should police our area because we do not have the police,” he added.
