By A Correspondent- A Honda Fit which was being driven by a police officer stationed at Chipinge urban police station has killed a child.

Constable Muzion Gwanyanya of Chipinge urban police station killed a Gaza O primary school pupil in Chipinge was last week when he failed to control the car.

The police officer is set to appear in court soon facing culpable homicide charges.

The now-deceased, Victoria Mabhuto Muchemei, (9) was returning from school together with her friends on a fateful day.

She was buried at Chipinge town cemetery on Monday last week.
