By A Correspondent- Businessman James Makamba said he was ready to contest Home Affairs minister and Zanu PF Mashonaland Central provincial chair, Kazembe Kazembe for the local party provincial chairmanship post.

Kazembe has since launched a smear campaign against Makamba since the businessman announced his interest in the position.

Makamba told Newsday he was ready to submit his curriculum vitae so that he intensifies the fight.

“I am just hearing that I was barred from contesting, but surprisingly, I have not yet submitted my CV and I have no problem with the executive,” he said curtly.
