Tinashe Sambiri|The Zanu PF leader Emmerson Mnangagwa and MDC T president Douglas Togarasei Mwonzora have mooted the formation of a Government of National Unity, it has emerged.

Impeccable source have revealed both men are wary of losing elections to MDC Alliance leader President Nelson Chamisa – hence the gambit is meant to circumvent the coming polls.

Mwonzora’s political party is set to join POLAD regarded as a launchpad for the formation of the anticipated GNU.

MDC T secretary for Information and Publicity, Witness Dube on Tuesday said the party was ready to join POLAD.
