By A Correspondent- A Chitungwiza couple on Saturday lost US$ 21 700, R 5500 cash, a 42 inch TV set, 5 cellphones and a laptop to six armed robbers.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) took to its Twitter page and said investigations are underway.

The (ZRP) wrote:

Police in Chitungwiza are investigating circumstances surrounding a robbery case which occurred on 25/09/21 at Zengeza 3. Six suspects attacked a couple and stole US$21 700 and ZAR 5500 cash, as well as a 42 inch television, HP 250 laptop, five cellphones and two satchels.
