By A Correspondent- A video of a top Zimbabwe government official has gone viral after he promised to pay South African artists 5 times what they had billed him for performing at his birthday party.

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, George Guvamatanga hired top SA artists Makhadzi and Mafikizolo to perform at his lavish 50th birthday party celebrations.

The private party was held at the exclusive Padonhodzo events venues in Sunninghill, Harare.

The South African artists performed so well, that the Permanent secretary felt compelled to be generous and declared that he would pay 5 times what they had charged.
